Domestic sewage is the wastewater discharged from the daily life of residents, mainly from residential buildings and public buildings, such as residences, institutions, schools, hospitals, shops, public places and toilets of industrial enterprises. The pollutants contained in domestic sewage are mainly organic matters (such as protein, carbohydrates, fat, urea, ammonia nitrogen, etc.) and a large number of pathogenic microorganisms (such as parasite eggs and intestinal infection viruses, etc.). The organic matters present in the domestic sewage are extremely unstable and easily corroded to produce foul odors. Bacteria and pathogens multiply with organic matter in domestic sewage as nutrition, which can lead to the spread of infectious diseases. Therefore, domestic sewage must be treated before it is discharged.
Introduction to sewage treatment process: flocculants can be divided into two types according to their chemical components, namely inorganic flocculants and organic flocculants. The former can be divided into inorganic flocculants and inorganic polymer flocculants. The most frequently used fields of flocculants are water supply and sewage treatment. The principle that the flocculant produces clean water is because of the groups with positive (negative) electricity in it. After these groups are close to the particles with negative (positive) electricity in the water, it can greatly reduce their potential, so that the particles in the water are in an unstable state, and then use the polymerization properties in the groups to collect these particles, and finally separate them by physical or chemical methods.
