Denitrifying bacteria are mostly heterooxic and facultative anaerobic bacteria. They use the oxygen in nitric acid to oxidize organic matter under the condition of no molecular oxygen to obtain the ability required for their own life activities, and finally convert nitrate nitrogen into nitrogen gas. . There are more than 50 genera of denitrifying bacteria, including Pseudomonas, Alcaligenes, Neisseria, Nitrobacteria, Rhodospirillaceae, Fibermycetaceae, Spirobacterium, Rhizobacteria, Salt Bacteriaceae, etc.

Tests have shown that the following physical and chemical parameters are suitable for bacterial growth:

1. pH value: the range of action is 6-9, and the optimal range of aerobic use is between 6.8 and 7.2.

2. Temperature: The action range is between 10~40℃, and the temperature of the bacteria is 25~35℃. When the temperature is higher than 40°C, the denaturation and inactivation of some bacterial enzymes will be caused; when the temperature is lower than 10°C, the bacterial activity will decrease.

3. Dissolved oxygen: The dissolved oxygen in the anoxic tank in sewage treatment is about 0.2mg/L (aeration is not recommended).

4. Salinity: The salinity of the matter in the sewage, the maximum salinity of 35g/L (calculated as sodium chloride).

5. Anti-toxicity can effectively resist chemical toxic substances to a certain extent, including residual chlorine, cyanide, heavy metals, etc.

Preparation before dosing:

1. Expansion container: V=20*M (unit L), where M is the dosage of Gandu denitrifying bacteria, unit KG.

2. Stirrer: The dissolved bacteria are in a suspended state, which can be stirred by mechanical or hydraulic, but not by aeration.

3. Nutrients: COD2000mg/L, nitrate nitrogen 200mg/L, and total phosphorus 20mg/L in the container. Among them, COD can be configured with glucose, total phosphorus can be configured with potassium dihydrogen phosphate, and nitrate can be configured with sodium nitrate or potassium nitrate.
